Welcome to the Equal Opportunities page of the Department of Materials and Earth Sciences. On our homepage you will find information about our field of activity, further education programmes and their subsidies, networking opportunities and everyhting to do with work and familiy (childcare and caring for relatives). We also provide you with links to advice centres and on the subject of accessibility. An important concern is the recruitment of new female students in the Department of Materials and Earth Sciences and an increase in the proportion of female employees. We are committed to equal opportunities in the line with the TU Darmstadt concept. In addition to counselling, we also offer targeted funding (e.g. women's promotion funds) and support for women in scientific careers. The equal opprotunity officers are present at job interviews, support appointment procedures and have a seat on the Faculty Council.
