We are working on solutions to technical and socially relevant challenges in the areas of resources, energy, information technology, mobility and environmental protection. We are exploring the sustainable use of georesources and design resource-efficient materials for a future with renewable energies. In coordinated bachelor and international master’s programs, experts are trained who will help shaping our future in these fields.
We participate in various multidisciplinary double degree programmes, collaborating with universities across Europe to train our students to become highly qualified professionals.
The Institute of Applied Geosciences offers an international Master's programme in English language in Tropical Hydrogeology and Environmental Engineering (TropHEE) with a strong focus on water and environmental research.
